Injury accident in Union County, Friday evening

The Union County Sheriff’s Office reports one person suffered unknown/possible injuries, following a single-vehicle accident Friday evening. 55-year old Ronald Dale Brammer, of Afton, complained of pain following an accident that happened at around 7:15-p.m., Friday. Officials say Brammer was traveling north on Adams/Union Avenue, when he lost control of his 2000 Ford Contour. The vehicle crossed the intersection with 140th Street, and entered a ditch. It also crashed through a fence before coming to rest in a field. Brammer was transported by a Union County Sheriff’s Deputy to his mother’s residence.

Damage from the accident amounted to $2,600, including $100 damage to a barb wire fence owned by Allen Tanner, of Creston. Brammer was cited for Driving While License Suspended, Failure to Maintain Control, and Failure to provide proof of insurance.
