Dense Fog Continues Across Portions of Central Iowa Through Mid-Morning.

(Added Counties: Shelby-Crawford-Carroll-Greene)

Audubon-Guthrie-Dallas-Polk-Cass-Adair-Madison-Adams-Union-Taylor-Ringgold-Pottawattamie-Mills-Montgomery-Fremont and Page Counties:

DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM.

* VISIBILITY…Expect visibilities to remain below one half mile with widespread one quarter mile visibilities through mid morning. Visibilities will begin to improve by mid to late morning. Locations east of I-35 and north of highway 30 may see improvement shortly after sunrise but further south and west lower visibilities will remain in place during the morning commute.

* IMPACTS…Low visibilities in dense fog will make for limited sight distance and hazardous travel. Drive carefully.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
