JOYCE EMGARTEN, 81, of Exira (& formerly of Adair), died Tuesday, Oct. 27th, at the Exira Care Center. Funeral services for JOYCE EMGARTEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Friday, Oct. 27th, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Adair. Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home in Adair has the arrangements.

Visitation with her family is from 5-until 7-p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26th, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Sunnyhill Cemetery in Adair.

Memorials may be directed to the family to use per Joyce’s wishes at a later date.

JOYCE EMGARTEN is survived by:

Her sons – Bill Emgartent, of Aurora, CO.; Ron Emgarten, of Casey; and Mark (Trista) Emgarten, of Adair.

Her daughters – Cinda (Perry) Leeper, of Adair; Cheryl (Mark) Williams, of Adair; and Connie Emgarten, of Casey.

Her brother – Dean (Linda) Westergaard, of North Liberty.

14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
