Bank robbery in Casey Friday morning

The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help. Officials say a little after 8-a.m. today (Friday), the Rolling Hills Bank in Casey, was robbed. The suspect, a white male, wore a hoodie with a bandana pulled up to the bottom of the glasses. It’s believed the man didn’t use a weapon. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, walking east on Logan Street. No one was hurt during the incident. Authorities believed the suspect was acting alone.

The incident remains under investigation by the FBI, which will act as the leading agency. The Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Department of Transportation and the Adair and Guthrie County Sheriff’s offices are  cooperating in the investigation.
