DOROTHY FLORENCE BRANDES, 83, of Oakland died Tuesday, June 20th, at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Oakland. Funeral services for DOROTHY BRANDES will be held 10:30-a.m. Friday, June 23rd, at the Oakland United Methodist Church, in Oakland. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.

A Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, at the Rieken Funeral Home in Oakland.

Memorials may be donated to the Alzeheimer’s Association.

Her children – Ken Brandes and wife Jane, of Hancock; Delmar Brandes and wife Stephanie, of Oakland; Jeannie Lawrence and husband Jim, of Meriden, CT, and Shari Engle of Millard, NE.

10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
