The City of Atlantic announced on Thursday that they will be shutting down a portion of 3^rd Street due to construction work on the Whitney Inn. The closure will impact 3rd street between Chestnut Street and the alley on the east side of the Whitney Inn. The roadway will be closed starting Monday, May 22nd and is expected to be closed for a little over a month.
