MELVIN TESSMAN, 73, of Atlantic, died Saturday, April 8th, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life gathering for MELVIN TESSMAN will be held 2:30-p.m. Thursday, April 13th, at the Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home in Atlantic.

An open viewing will be held at the funeral home from 9-a.m. until 5-p.m. Wed., April 12th (the family will not be present).

A private family burial will be held prior to the Celebration of Life, in the Atlantic Cemetery.

His wife – Cheryl Starkweather-Tessman, of Atlantic.

His daughter – Janna Tessman (Tawfik) Azim, of Elk Grove, CA

and 2 grandchildren.
