GENE PURDY, 70, of Fontanelle, died Friday, January 27th, at the Greater Regional Hospice House in Creston.  Funeral services for GENE PURDY will be held 10:30-a.m. Wed., Feb. 1st, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. Steen Funeral Home in Fontanelle has the arrangements.

Visitation for Gene Purdy will be held at the Emmanuel  Lutheran Church on Tuesday, from 2-until 7-p.m., with the family present from 5-until 7-p.m.;  A Masonic Service will be held on Tuesday at the Emmanual Lutheran Church on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. conducted by the Masonic Circle Lodge No. 555 of Prescott.

Burial is in the Fontanelle Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by the Fontanelle American Legion Carlson Post No. 247.  A luncheon will be held at the church following the committal services at the cemetery.
