HELEN BARTA, 105, formerly of Persia, died Wed., Dec. 28th, at St. Joseph’s Village in David City, NE. A Mass of Christian Burial for HELEN BARTA will be held 11-a.m. Monday, Jan. 2nd, at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church, in Portsmouth.  Pauley-Jones Funeral Home, in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth, is from 9:30-until 11-a.m., Monday (prior to the service).

Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Portsmouth.

Her daughters – Joyce (Wally) Polak, of Bellevue, NE; Janice (Duane) Blowers, of Fremont, NE; Judi (Donald) Feekin, of Papillion, NE; Jackie Feige, of La Vista, NE, and Jerri (Max) Handbury, of Persia, IA.

22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
