Daniels Jr. and McCarron both earn weekly Big Ten honors

Iowa Running Back LeShun Daniels Jr. was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week and Wide Receiver Riley McCarron was named Big Ten Co-Special Teams Player of the Week following their performances against Illinois.

- Matched a career high with 26 carries for season-high 159 rushing yards in Iowa’s victory over Illinois
- Scored on runs of one and 50 yards in the contest to notch his sixth career multi-touchdown game
- Recorded more than 100 rushing yards for the fifth time in his career
- Earns the first Offensive Player of the Week award of his career

- Added one catch for 16 yards
- Claims his first career Special Teams Player of the Week honor
