Jeske runs for 2 TDs and Dayton tops Drake 35-10

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Alex Jeske ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as Dayton used a strong running game to beat Drake 35-10 on Saturday for its first Pioneer Athletic League win of the season. Led by Tucker Yinger — with 172 yards on 21 carries — the Flyers (3-2, 1-1) outgained the Bulldogs 323-110 yards on the ground. Jeske opened the scoring with a 48-yard run and scored on a 5-yard run in the second quarter.
Jared Ruffing gained 55 yards on 15 carries and scored TDs on runs of 1 and 5 yards. Jeske connected with Jack Euritt on a 42-yard scoring pass in the first quarter and finished 7 of 15 for 126 yards passing. Grant Kraemer threw a 13-yard TD pass to Zach Zlabis for Drake (2-3, 1-1) and was 22 of 40 for 247 yards passing. Josh Lee kicked a 27-yard field goal.
