Suspect sought after attempted burglary in Council Bluffs

Council Bluffs Police are searching for a vehicle and individual after an attempted burglary Monday morning. At 9:22am officers were called to 3213 Gold Rush Road to investigate an attempted burglary.
Upon arrival officers were told by the victim that someone knocked on his front door and as he approached the door he heard glass breaking. He opened the door to find a male suspect walking away from his front door that turned and pointed a silver hand gun in his direction and told him not to follow him.
The White Male suspect, believed to be in his 20’s, fled the area in a grey over black early 1990’s Chevy Pickup with an adult female passenger. The vehicle has Nebraska plates 7-D6402.
