THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR…SHELBY COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN IOWA…HARRISON COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN IOWA…SOUTHEASTERN MONONA COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL IOWA…NORTHEASTERN POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN IOWA…SOUTHEASTERN BURT COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA…NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA…UNTIL 445 AM CDT.
* AT 139 AM CDT…DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.
