SHIRLEY MAE [DAVIS] NIELSEN, 87, of Council Bluffs (a native of Walnut), died Thursday, July 7^th, at the Lighthouse at Lakeside Village in Omaha. Funeral services for SHIRLEY NIELSEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Monday, July 11^th, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, in Council Bluffs (400 Cloverdale Drive). Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home/Bayliss Park Chapel in Council Bluffs (545 Willow Avenue), has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home, with the family present, is from 1-until 3-p.m. Sunday, July 10^th.

Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery, with a lunch will to follow at St. John’s United Church of Christ.

Memorials are suggested to St. John’s UCC.

Her daughters – Bonnie (Tom) Wells, of Little Rock, Ark., and Linda (Paul) Harvey, of Grand Marais, MN.

Her son – Daniel (Paula) Nielsen, of Omaha.

Her sister – Dorthea Petersen.

3 grandsons, one great grandson; her sister-in-law, Arlene Davis, several nieces and nephews.
