The Globe Gazette reports that District Court Judge James Drew signed an order Thursday amending Damion Seats’ sentence to life in prison with the possibility of parole. Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports that the group wants to model its plan on Dubuque’s, which installed cameras last year around the downtown area. Dubuque police say they were able to use video from the cameras last month to catch a gang leader linked to a number of crimes.
