HELEN HUMMEL, 86, of Oakland, died Sunday, July 31st, at the Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs. Funeral services for HELEN HUMMEL will be held 11-a.m. Friday, August 5th,at the Oakland United Methodist Church. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening, August 4, 2016 from 5:30 until 7:30 PM at the Oakland United Methodist Church.

HELEN HUMMEL is survived by:

Her daughter – Carole (Larry) Lieb, of Carroll.

Her sons – David (Ruth) Hummel, of West Des Moines, & James (Mary) Hummel, of Council Bluffs.

Her brother – Ernest (Jean) Boege, of Albany, OR.

8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews, and her brother-in-law, Kenny Hummel, of Council Bluffs.
