3 Creston men arrested on assault charges

Police in Creston arrested three men over the weekend on separate assault charges. Sunday afternoon, 42-year old Charles Clark, of Creston, was taken into custody on a Union County warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault/2nd Offense. He was being held in the Union County Jail while awaiting a bond hearing.

18-year old Kane Farlow, of Creston, was arrested Saturday afternoon, on charges of eluding, driving while suspended, reckless driving, and Assault on an Officer with weapon. He was being held in the Union County Jail on $5,000 bond. Also arrested Saturday afternoon, was 44-year old Donald Beebe, of Creston. Beebe was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault. He was later released from the Union County Jail on a Promise to Appear in Court.

Creston Police said also, a resident of the 300 block of Birch Street reported Saturday, that sometime between 8:30-p.m. May 20th and 8-a.m. May 21st, someone slashed the tires on her vehicle while it was parked outside the residence. Damage was estimated at $280. Another resident, who lives in the 800 block of west Adams Street, in Creston, reported Sunday, that someone had stolen wheels for his vehicle, and a bicycle. The theft took place sometime between the evening of May 20th and the afternoon of May 22nd. The loss was estimated at $600.
