…ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED IN SOUTHWESTERN CASS COUNTY…AT 523 PM CDT…DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ENTERING SOUTHWESTERN CASS COUNTY. RAINFALL ESTIMATES OVER THE PAST FEW HOURS ARE AS HIGH AS 2 TO 3 INCHES…WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN OCCURRING BETWEEN GRISWOLD AND GRANT. THE ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE UP TO ANOTHER INCH OF RAINFALL. PONDING OF WATER CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG WITH SIGNIFICANT WITHIN-BANK RISES OF SMALLER STREAMS IN THE AREA OF HEAVIER RAINFALL.
