JOHN  BLAINE, 61, of Massena, died Sunday, April 3rd, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.  Funeral services for JOHN BLAINE will be held 10:30-a.m. Friday, April 8th, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ south of Massena. A luncheon will follow the service at the Massena Lion/Legion Hall. Steen Funeral Home in Massena has the arrangements.

Visitation is open at the funeral home from 2-until 7-pm Thursday, with the family present from 5-until 7-p.m.

His wife – Cindy Blaine, of Massena.

His sons – Chris (Lindsay) Blaine, and Jake (June) Blaine, all of Massena.

His step-sons: Trevor (Mindy) Oberholtz, of Rapid City, S.D., & Tyler Oberholtz, of Adair.

His sister – Joanie (Steve) Howe, of Creston.

4 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
