REVEREND CHARLES E. SMITH JR., 86, of Atlantic died Monday, March 14, 2016 at his home.  Funeral services for REVEREND CHUCK SMITH JR. will be held Saturday, March 19th at 11:00am in the Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home in Atlantic.

Visitation with family will be held Friday, March 18th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Atlantic.

Burial will be a private family burial at a later date.

Memorial may be directed to the First Baptist Church.

REVEREND CHARLES E. SMITH JR. is survived by:

Wife: Carol P. Smith of Atlantic.

Children: Deb (Steve) Smith-Reisz of Panama.  Chuck (Fiance Jennifer Fisher) Smith of Atlantic.  Jeff Smith of Atlantic.

Sisters: Janice (Richard) Petersen of Omaha, NE.  Nancy Matthew of Council Bluffs.  Candy (Jon) Narmi of Council Bluffs.
