MARY ANN KENKEL, 92, of Defiance, died Sat., Jan. 30th, at home. A Mass of Christian Burial for MARY ANN KENKEL will be held 10:30-a.m. Sat., Feb. 6th, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Friends may call at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance, from 4-until 8-pm Friday (2/5), with the family greeting friends from 5-until 8-p.m., and a Catholic Daughters Rosary at 5:30-p.m.

Burial will be held at a later date.

Her husband – Francis Kenkel, of Defiance.

Her sons – Jim (Pam) Kenkel, of Woodward; Gene Kenkel and Alan (Jo) Kenkel, all of Defiance; Michael (Jean) Kenkel, of Council Bluffs; Patrick (Christina) Kenkel, of Prospect, KY., and Kevin (Diane) Kenkel, of Mitchell, SD.

Her sisters – Alice Bontz, of Council Bluffs, and Norene (Dr. Kennth) Pavlik, of Verdigre, NE.

Her brothers – Ludwig (Alice) Buman, Don (Clarice) Buman, and Ray (Marian) Buman, all of Harlan.

18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, as well as several brothers- and sisters-in law.
