FLOYD V. JACOBSEN, 87, of Atlantic, died Wed., Feb. 24th, at his home. A Celebration of Life service with Military Honors will be held for FLOYD V. JACOBSEN 2-p.m. Sat., Feb. 27th, at the First United Methodist Church, in Atlantic. First United Methodist Church of Atlantic is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will greet friends at the Church on Friday, (2/26), from 5-until 8-p.m.

A Private burial will be held in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, at a later date.

FLOYD V. JACOBSEN is survived by:

His wife – Shirley.

His sons – Alan Jacobsen, of Sioux City; Carl (Lori) Jacobsen, of Ankeny, & Mike Jacobsen & his fiance’ Jessica Parkison, of Atlantic.

His daughters – Myra (Norman) Houser, of Ankeny; Nancy (Joe) Steckelberg, of Independence, & Ann (Larry) Johnk, of Walnut.

21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his sister-in-law Roma Gerry, of Omaha, and brother-in-law Clifford C. (Nova) Wright, of Wiota, as well as several nieces and nephews.
