ETHEL BERNADINE FRITZ, 92, of Avoca (& formerly of rural Oakland), died Mon., Feb. 22nd, at the Avoca Nursing & Rehab Center. Funeral services for ETHEL FRITZ will be held 1:30-p.m. Friday, Feb. 26th, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oakland. Rieken-Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.

An open visitation will be held at the Rieken Vieth Funeral Home on Thursday. The family will not be present at any specific time.

Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Ethel’s name.

She is survived by her three children: Rev. Rodney Fritz of Hanover, Kansas; Sheryl Bald and her husband David of Oakland; Jolene and her husband Rick of Oakland.

Her sister – Norma Schaaf, of Massena.

2 granddaughters, her sister-in-law JeanHenkenius of Cumberland, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
