VERNON L. KARSTENS, 94, of Avoca, died Sat., Jan. 9th, at the Avoca Nursing & Rehab Center. A Memorial service for VERNON KARSTENS will be held 10-a.m. Tue., Jan. 12th, at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Avoca. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca has the arrangements.

The family will greet friends from 5-until 7-pm Monday, Jan. 11th at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.

His son – Ronald (RoseMarie) Karstens, of Woodbury, MN.

His daughter – Karen (James) Hansen, of Walnut.

His brother – Leonard (Barbara) Karstens, of Ft. Calhoun, NE.

His sister – Ruth Abendroth, of Fountain Valley, CA.

5 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.
