(In an update to our post Wednesday- corrects 2nd vehicle as a tractor)

A passenger in a car that pulled out in front of a tractor Wednesday evening in Atlantic, was injured during the collision. According to Atlantic Police, the accident near the west entrance to the Mid-Town Apartments happened a little after 6:30-p.m.
Officials say an SUV driven by Shelly Schwenneker, of Atlantic, was turning left into the apartment complex parking lot in the 400 block of east 8th Street, when she pulled in front of an International tractor driven by Dennis Vogl, of Atlantic. A passenger in the SUV, 44-year-old Tracy Ollinger, of Atlantic, suffered minor injuries and was transported by Medivac Ambulance to the Cass County Memorial Hospital.

Police says Schwenneker was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
