ELLA MAE SCHABEN, 81, of Harlan, died Sat., May 2nd, at Myrtue Medical Center, in Harlan. A Mass of Christian Burial service for ELLA MAE SCHABEN will be held 11-a.m. Wed., May 6th, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home is from 2-until 8-pm Tue., May 5th, with the family greeting friends from 6-to 8-pm, and a Wake service scheduled for 7-p.m.

Burial will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, at Defiance.

ELLA MAE SCHABEN is survived by:

Her sons – Steve (Karen) Schaben, and Neil (Barbara) Schaben, all of Denison; Rick (Laurie) Schaben, and Tim Schaben, all of Harlan; and Randy Schaben, of Carroll.

Her daughter – Jeanne (Dick) Bornholf, of Carroll.

Her brothers – Edlred “Zim” (Geri) Zimmerman, of West Des Moines, & Richard Zimmerman, of Council Bluffs.

Her sisters – Janice (Don) Marker, of Urbandale, & Carolyn Mortensen, of Naples, FL.

2 sisters-in-law:  Jeanie Theilen of Vermont & Bonnie Zimmerman of Indianola.
