2 injured in a crash Tue. evening in Pott. County

Two men, one from Pennsylvania, the other from western Iowa, were injured Tuesday evening, during a collision on the Interstate, in Pottawattamie County. The Iowa State Patrol reports a 2014 Ford rental truck was stopped along the shoulder of I-680/-29 wwestbound at mile marker 40, and was about to re-enter the I-680. In doing so, the truck, driven by 44-year old Bernard Oguto, of Whitehall, PA., blocked both lanes of traffic. It was struck by a westbound 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 35-year old Jason Parker, of Persia. Both drivers were transported to Mercy Hospital by Minden Rescue. Their injuries were described as minor. The accident happened at around 5:10-p.m.
