EVELYN ALMA NELSEN, 98, of Oakland died Saturday, March 14th at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home.  Funeral Services for EVELYN ALMA NELSEN will be held Wednesday, March 18th at 10:30am at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca.  Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca has the arrangements.

Visitation with family greeting friends will be held Tuesday, March 17th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.

Daughters: Karen (Steve) Guyer of Hancock. Cheryl (Larry) Billings of Hancock.

Son: Lowell (Kathy) Nelsen of Vancouver, WA.

Sons-in-law: Eldon “Butch” Popp of Walnut.  Lynn Wirth of Avoca.

Brothers: Delno “Bud” (Betty) Holtz of Avoca.  Clarence (Betty Jean) Holtz of Denver, CO.

Brother-in-law: Melvin (Lola) Hodge of Atlantic.

Sister-in-law: Lillian Flaherty of Arizona.
