Adams County couple arrested on drug and child endangerment charges

A couple from Adams County were arrested Tuesday night on Child Endangerment and Possession of Prescription Drugs, charges. The Sheriff’s Department says 26-year old Misty Cross and 25-year old Steven Davis, of Kent, were taken into custody at around 8-p.m. after authorities received a report at around 7-p.m., of a 2-year old child walking down the highway near the intersection of Highway 34 and Vanilla Avenue.  Misty Cross faces one count each of Child Endangerment and Possession of Prescription Drugs charges. Steven Davis faces 3 counts of Child Endangerment in addition to the possession charge. Their bonds were set at $2,000 each.

And, at around 11-p.m. Wednesday, Steven Davis’ brother, 25-year old Matthew Davis, of Creston, was arrested on a Public Intoxication charge at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, when he attempted to bond his brother out of jail. Matthew Davis was being held in the jail on $300 bond.
