WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM until 8 PM TODAY. A.QUICK MOVING CLIPPER SYSTEM WILL BRING A MIXTURE OF PRECIPITATION TO THE REGION. A FAST MOVING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING A MIXTURE OF RAIN…SNOW AND POSSIBLY SOME FREEZING RAIN TO THE AREA. PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE AREA AFTER 6AM THEN SPREAD SLOWLY SOUTH DURING THE MORNING. PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW
* TIMING…A MIX OF RAIN…SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP BY MID MORNING CHANGING TO ALL SNOW BY MID AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING.
* MAIN IMPACT…1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW COULD ACCUMULATE IN MOST OF THE ADVISORY AREA.
* OTHER IMPACTS…NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 30 MPH WHICH COULD PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
