* TIMING…SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON BUT TAPER OFF BY EARLY EVENING.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS FROM 2 TO 5 INCHES.
CRAWFORD-CARROLL-AUDUBON-GUTHRIE-DALLAS COUNTIES…
A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST TUESDAY…
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST TUESDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…5 TO 6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.
* WINDS/VISIBILITY…WINDS WILL GENERALLY BE FROM 10 TO 15 MPH DURING THE FALLING SNOW…PRODUCING SOME BLOWING SNOW. THE HIGHER SNOWFALL INTENSITY WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY AT TIMES TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS.
