A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM SUNDAY FOR SAC-CRAWFORD-CARROLL-AUDUBON-GUTHRIE-DALLAS-CASS-ADAIR-MADISON-ADAMS-UNION-TAYLOR-SHELBY-POTTAWATTAMIE-MILLS-MONTGOMERY-FREMONT-PAGE and RINGGOLD COUNTIES, AND UNTIL 3-A.M. SUNDAY FOR MONONA & HARRISON COUNTIES.
* SHORT TERM TRENDS…SNOW AND STRONG WINDS WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA BY MIDNIGHT AND PERSIST THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
* STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…GENERALLY 1 TO 2 INCHES.
* WINDS/VISIBILITY…NORTHWEST INCREASING TO 25 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH AT TIMES. VISIBILITIES MAY REDUCED TO A HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES WHILE SNOW IS FALLING AND BLOWING.
* IMPACTS…LOW VISIBILITY…STRONG WINDS…AND SLICK ROADS WILL MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS. DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS ARE ALSO EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT.
