A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT…
* SHORT TERM TRENDS…WIDESPREAD SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE LATE EVENING. PORTIONS OF THE AREA WILL HAVE A PERIOD OF LITTLE TO NO SNOW BEFORE THE NEXT WAVE ARRIVES FROM EASTERN NEBRASKA. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY BE 2 INCHES OR LESS.
* STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…2 TO 4 INCHES WITH SOME LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO 6 INCHES OVER NORTHWEST IOWA FROM ALGONA TO ESTHERVILLE.
* WINDS/VISIBILITY…VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES. WINDS WILL BE SOUTHEAST AT 5 TO 15 MPH.
* IMPACTS…SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS WILL LEAD TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
