LORENA CATHERINE GUBBELS, 97, of Harlan, died Sat., Oct. 4th, at the Elm Crest Assisted Living Facility. A Mass of Christian Burial service for LORENA GUBBELS will be held 10:30-a.m. Wed., Oct. 8th, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Boniface Catholic Church is from 4-to 9-pm Tuesday, with a Rosary at 7-p.m.

Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

LORENA GUBBELS is survived by:

Her sons – Edward (Mary) Stephany, and Glen (Sharon) Gubbels, all of Harlan.

Her step-daughters: Kathleen Kloewer, of Panama, & Connie (Robert) Easterly, of Hayden, CO.

Her step-son: Gene (Diane) Stephany, of Des Moines

22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.
