FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 2-A.M. SATURDAY THROUGH 8-A.M. SATURDAY.
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA/VALLEY HAS ISSUED A FREEZE WATCH, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO DROP INTO THE UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. TENDER VEGETATION MAY BE IMPACTED. THIS WOULD INCLUDE ANY LATE SEASON GARDENS OR OUTDOOR PLANTS.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A FREEZE WATCH MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE. THESE CONDITIONS COULD KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
