Creamy Corn Bread (10-21-14)

- 1 cup butter or margarine, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons canned green chile (to taste)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 15 1/2 oz. can cream style sorn
- 1/2 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
In large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes.
