An Atlantic man was arrested Tuesday. 37-year old Cody Ewing was arrested for Driving While Barred. Ewing was booked into the Cass County Jail. And, Atlantic Police say no injuries were reported following an accident that took place at around 3:15-p.m., Tuesday.

Officials say Nathalee Gilleland, of Elliott, was issued a warning for Failure to Yield while making a left turn, after the vehicle he was driving struck a vehicle driven by Orest Lechnowsky, of Omaha. The accident happened at the intersection of 7th Street (Highway 6) and Hospital Drive, as Lechnowsky was traveling westbound, and Gilleland, who was traveling eastbound, attempted to turn into the Atlantic Shopping Center parking lot.

Damage from the collision amounted to $3,600.
