TORNADO WATCH 479 IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS Untitled

IOWA COUNTIES INCLUDED ARE: BUENA VISTA CHEROKEE CLAY CRAWFORD DICKINSON EMMET HARRISON IDA MILLS MONONA O’BRIEN OSCEOLA PALO ALTO PLYMOUTH POCAHONTAS POTTAWATTAMIE SAC SHELBY SIOUX WOODBURY.

EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 335 PM UNTIL 900 PM CDT.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE…A FEW TORNADOES POSSIBLE; SCATTERED LARGE HAIL LIKELY WITH ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE; SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH LIKELY

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG. AND 60 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 25 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF SPENCER IOWA TO 45 MILES SOUTHWEST OF CONCORDIA KANSAS.
