EUGENE “DOC” KUHNS, 67, of Earlham (& formerly of the Greenfield area) died Friday, June 20th,, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral Services for “DOC” KUHNS will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield. Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

The family will greet friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Greenfield. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Memorials may be directed to the Doc Kuhns memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Burial will be at the Hill of Zion Cemetery, in rural Orient, Iowa.

His wife – Deb Kuhns, of Earlham; His sons – Matthew Kuhns and wife Denise of Greenfield, and Nathan Kuhns of Orient; His daughter – Samantha Jensen and husband Chad of Indianola; His step-daughter – Heather Snell and husband Quincy of Winterset;His  step-son – Brent Stanford and
wife Jill of Cumming.

His sister – Linda Sidey of Greenfield

11 grandchildren;  other relatives and friends.
