DORIS MILDRED TOWNE, 94, of Corning, died Wed., June 11th, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services for DORIS TOWNE will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, June 14th at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak.  Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation with the family will be held  one hour prior to the funeral service.

Memorials are suggested to the Adams County Rescue Unit.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Son – Chester Towne of Cumberland, IA

Daughter – Wanda Hughes of Stuart, IA

Daughter-in-law – GAil Humphreys Towne of Corning, IA

Sisters – Blanche Sederburg of Omaha, NE and Ruby Lister of Red Oak, IA

4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
