.SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL HAVE REDEVELOPED OVER WESTERN IOWA. THESE STORMS COULD BRING ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL IN SOME SPOTS WITH RAINFALL RATES NEAR 2 INCHES PER HOUR AS HEAVIER STORMS MOVE THROUGH.

* THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL EARLY THIS MORNING. LOCALIZED AMOUNTS OF TWO INCHES MAY OCCUR. THIS WILL LEAD TO THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING…PARTICULARLY IN URBAN AND HILLY AREAS.
* FLASH FLOODING WILL POSE A DANGER TO ANYONE NEAR WATERWAYS AND LOW LYING AREAS…AND MAY AFFECT TRAVEL AS SOME ROADS COULD BE FLOODED.
