THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 1 PM CDT FRIDAY.
* TIMING...NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND
REMAIN STRONG FOR MUCH OF THE MORNING HOURS FRIDAY.
* WINDS...SUSTAINED 30 MPH WINDS ARE EXPECTED WITH WIND GUSTS
ABOVE 45 MPH AT TIMES LATE TONIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING.
* IMPACTS...TRAVEL FOR SOME HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES ACROSS NORTH
SOUTH ROADS MAY BE IMPACTED BY THE STRONG WINDS. ALONG WITH THAT
LOOSE OR UNSECURED OBJECTS LOFTED BY THE WIND MAY CAUSE DAMAGE
OR INJURY.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED
