* WINDS/VISIBILITY…NORTHWEST WINDS 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE AFTER NOON. THIS WILL BE ESPECIALLY TRUE IN ANY SNOW SHOWERS THAT DEVELOP. THIS WILL CREATE AN AREA OF LOW LEVEL BLOWING SNOW AND VISIBILITY REDUCTIONS. AREAS WITH WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES MAY OCCUR.

* IMPACTS…TRAVEL COULD BECOME EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND HAZARDOUS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON WHERE THE HIGHEST WINDS…SNOW SHOWERS…AND ONE INCH OR MORE OF SNOW OCCURS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO STRONG WINDS BLOWING SNOW AROUND. USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING…ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS.
