Authorities in Montgomery County say a Nebraska man was arrested following an investigation into an accident Friday evening, in Coburg. 66-year old Donald Plott, Jr. of Omaha, was arrested in Page County on an OWI charge.

Officials say just after 7-p..m. Friday, a 1985 Dodge pickup driven by Plott, Jr., was eastbound on 270th Street about one-third of a mile west of West Railway Road in Coburg, when his pickup crossed the center line, causing his side-view mirror to collide with the side-view mirror of a westbound 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup driven by 49-year old Roger Allen Abraham, of Red Oak.

Plott failed to stop and continued west on 270th and then south onto Highway 48 into a rural driveway in Page County, where Abraham was able to get Plott to stop, while they waited for Page and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies to arrive.

Damage from the incident amounted to $1,950. No injuries were reported.
