ISU’s Christofferson Named Pre-Season All-Big 12

IRVING, Texas – Iowa State senior forward Hallie Christofferson was selected to the preseason All-Big 12 team in a vote by the league’s coaches.
Christofferson, who was selected to the All-Big 12 First-Team at the end of last season, averaged 15.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. She was also second in the league in free-throw percentage, knocking down 86.2 percent from the charity stripe.
The Hamlin, Iowa native shot 50 percent or better in 19 games and finished with double-figure scoring in 24 of 28 games. Christofferson was also named an honorable mention All-American by both the Associated Press and the WBCA last season.
The Cyclones open exhibition play Nov. 3 at Hilton Coliseum against Wayne State. The regular season tips off at home Nov. 10 against North Dakota.
