The Shelby County Emergency Management Agency reports a road that sits along the Shelby-Crawford County line, is currently closed for a culvert replacement project that’s expected to last about 3-to 4-weeks. The culvert is located in the 1500 block of Shelby County Street F-16, and Crawford County Avenue Y…a county line road.

The road is located between Shelby County road M-36 and Crawford County’s 300th Street. The closure will be located east of Astor Cemetery and west of 1531 Street F-16, or the Roger Ahrenholtz residence, in Greeley Township, Section 4.

Local residents and emergency responders should plan to take an alternate route until construction is completed. For more information call the Shelby County Engineer at 712-755-5954.
