Music at the Hitchcock House this weekend
August 17th, 2013 by Ric Hanson
The Friends of Hitchcock House near Lewis, will sponsor The Blue Tones in a free concert on the lawn at Hitchcock House, this Sunday, August 18th. Their concert last year was the high point of the season, and The Blue Tones are returning by popular demand.
The Hitchcock House is located one-mile west of Lewis. The House was a Station on the Underground Railroad, and is a designated National Historic Landmark. You’re invited to come early and take a guided tour of the House. Tours are $5 for adults, children free.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the Red Barn. Bring comfortable lawn chairs if you have them. Join the crowd for a free concert at Hitchcock House. The music begins at 2.
