DONALD “Gene” STEWART, 89, of Greenfield, died Fri.,Aug.2nd, at the Greenfield Manor.Funeral Services for “GENE” STEWART will be held 10:30-a.m. Tue., Aug. 6th, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5th, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

Memorials may be directed to the Gene Stewart memorial fund to be established by the family.

Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery with full military graveside rites by the Greenfield American Legion Head-Endres Post No. 265 and V.F.W. Post No. 5357.

His step-children: Russell Mangels (Debra) of Waukee, Ronald Mangels (Suzanne) of Rosharon, TX, and Arlyce Messer (Steven) of Greenfield

His brother – Ray Stewart (Roberta) of Papillion, NE.

10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren, his sisters-in-law, other relatives & friends.
