The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest on Tuesday morning of Remo Cortez Bennett.

The 25-year old Council Bluffs man was taken into custody on a Cass County Sheriff’s Office warrant for Robbery 1^st Degree, in connection with the August 8 armed robbery of America’s Best Value Inn in Cass County. Bennett was being held at the Cass County Jail on $50,000 bond.

His brother, 38-year old Courtney Derrel Bennett, was arrested August 11th, also on a charge of Robbery in the 1st degree.
