JAMES KATZER, 76, of Persia , died Sat., May 25th, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. A Mass of Christian Burial service for JAMES KATZER will be held 10:30-a.m. Wed., May 29th, at St. Mary/Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tue., from 5-until 9-p.m, with a Wake service at 7-p.m.

Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.

His wife – Ruby “Jean” Katzer, of Persia.

His sons – Jim (Becky) Katzer, of Underwood, and Joseph “Jody” (& wife Susie) Katzer, of Council Bluffs.

His daughters – Jill (BOb) Holpuch, of Rocklin, CA, and Janice (Tamer) Sabra, of Lincoln, CA.

His brothers – Albert (Donna) Katzer, of Rapid City, SD; Joseph (Betty) Katzer, of Menifee, CA, and Fred (Gracie) Katzer, of Huntington Beach, CA.

His sister – Cecilia Thygesen, of Harlan.
